Make 2018 the year you take control of your health! There are so many steps to a healthy body and reduced arthritis pain, but today we’re going to focus on supplements (since hey, we sell one, so might as well recognize a few kindred spirits!)
In addition to GLX3, here are five supplements we love and encourage those seeking whole body health to look into.
A good multivitamin
We talk a lot about whole body health here on the GLX3 blog. As you may have guessed, that goes much further than just taking a pill to ease joint pain and inflammation. Multivitamins such as Nature’s Way Alive help ensure you’re getting your vitamins and nutrients on a daily basis. When eating healthy and taking a multivitamin, you’re sure to feel better fast!
Timed-Release Vitamin C
Whipping up a quick Emergen-C when you feel a bit ill in the morning or evening is pretty commonplace these days. But by adding a timed-release vitamin C supplement such as Nature Made C to your routine, you’ll start fighting off those sluggish and sick feelings before they even begin to creep in.
Citrus fruits such as oranges are also high in Vitamin C, making for a cheap, healthy, and delicious way to complement your diet with or without a supplement.
NatureMade also makes a darn good Probiotic supplement, although there are many on the market. Probiotics also help the immune system and body feel and function well. We’ve gotten quite into kombucha over the last couple years, and find it a delicious (although many consider it an acquired taste) drinks that makes it easy to get your probiotics.
Nearly all of the body’s calcium is stored in the bones, and ample supplies are a necessity for those bones to be strong and healthy. This starts in childhood and continues throughout your life, meaning it is never too late to up your calcium intake. Complement a calcium supplement by drinking milk, eating yogurt, and certain veggies like green beans or baby carrots. Sunflower seeds are another great source, and make getting good amounts of calcium easy as you chew lightly on them throughout the day. Remember above when we talked about oranges for Vitamin C? Yeah, they contain a good amount of calcium also.
As far as a calcium supplement that we recommend, Vitamin Code Raw Calcium pills will do the trick just fine.

CBD (Cannabidiol) oil
The medical benefits of CBD oil, (yes it’s from the marijuana plant, but no CDB won’t get you high – that’s THC) are becoming more known and used more commonly in many places throughout the United States. Here’s a quick primer on CBD and some of its proven benefits.
It’s great for pain relief, and this is the primary reason why many choose to use it. But it also can help to reduce anxiety, nausea, and lowers incidences of diabetes. CBD comes in several forms, including pills and lotions, making it easy to take. There’s no high that comes with it, and absolutely no smoking of any kind (we would never recommend smoking anything for your health, anyway!)
The catch? It can be tough to order CBD oil products over the web. Those of you living in states with medical marijuana are in luck.
The Bottom Line
Of course, we encourage you to consider GLX3 among these other great supplements. Above all, however, we wish you the best of luck in better health, along with reduced joint pain and inflammation! We’re always happy to answer questions or provide more information on how our supplement can be of use to you. Don’t hesitate to get in touch!
