Vitamin E is a key for healthy skin and eyes, as well as for a strong immune system. Antioxidant properties of Vitamin E are its major benefit to humans.  It is a family of fat-soluble compounds and occurs naturally in 8 different forms, including 4 tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma and delta) and 4 tocotrienols. Among these, Alpha-tocopherol is the most potent and the most common form of the vitamin. Praised as an antioxidant, the oil also helps our body in a number of other ways, such as helping keep vessels healthy and helping improve our immune system.

Vitamin E is obtained naturally from foods including the following:

  1. Green leafy vegetables
  2. Vegetable Oils (wheat germ or Safflower oil)
  3. Avocado: 2.7 milligrams
  4. Broccoli: 1.2 milligrams/half cup
  5. Kiwi: 2.7 milligram/cup
  6. Sweet Potato: 4.2 milligram/tablespoon
  7. Sunflower Seeds: 10 milligram/ounce
  8. Mamey Sapote: 5.9 milligram/half fruit
  9. Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Almond Oil: at least 2 milligram/teaspoon
  10. Spinach: Up to 3.8 milligram/cup

In GLX3 we use all-natural Vitamin E oil because it stabilizes the supplement and this, in turn, provides the same effect for the inflation levels in the joints of our customers. It also helps in reducing the risk of heart disease and coronary artery disorders. To round out our compact list of ingredients, we use this beneficial antioxidant that promotes healthy living with arthritis.

Antioxidants are important because they remove the unstable cell-structure damaging compounds known as free radicals. Free radicals form inside the body as a result of unhealthy diets, drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco, and even from breathing polluted air in certain areas. Vitamin E Oil, along with Green Lipped Mussel Oil and New Zealand Olive Oil, helps to offset these free radicals. As a result, this may reduce the risk of heart disease and coronary artery disorders.

All of our Vitamin E oil is derived from all-natural sources such as those listed above, giving us antioxidant that helps in maintaining cell integrity to use in our product. GLX3 uses only natural Vitamin E oil obtained from canola. sunflower, safflower, and olive oils. Natural vitamin E comprises of alpha-tocopherol exclusively in an active form. The alpha-tocopherol is used in the supplements. Natural forms of vitamin E are more readily absorbed by the body than synthetic forms of oils and nutrients.
